Ashim Kemson

A thorough struggler is the only way to define Indian musician, singer and lyricist, Ashim Kemson. Born on March 27, 1990, he completed his education from IGNOU and then went on to join DAV school as a music teacher. Later he learnt Sound Engineering in Delhi. From the age of 7, he sang school prayers in his school. Not limiting himself to only singing, he learnt drums and started playing at Christian Conventions in various churches. And that's where he was recognized for his talent. Ashim's this talent was spotted by Mosaic Brothers during their visit to Ludhiana. Not only did they teach him to play bass guitar, but also gifted him one. Gradually he developed a liking towards acoustic guitar and mouth organ. His next step took him closer to his goal. He started teaching music at AVM College in Batala. His real journey started when he joined as an intern in the biggest music label, T-series, where he assisted Pt. Jwala Prasad. Very soon he was a bassist with the band Afreen (Oskus Entertainment Company) performing at live shows across India. Later on he worked as a recordist for Life OK channel, where he happened to meet lyricist Rakesh Kumar, he decided to join him as an assistant and then got his much deserved break in Bollywood with the movie 'Rangleelay' as a playback singer. Followed by which he sang for the films such as 'Love Yoou Soniye', 'Family Aa Rahi Hai' and even penned down a song for 'Assi Desi'.
