Ankur Vikal is a renowned Indian theatre and film actor. He debuted in films with the Indian ground-breaking film, `Mango Souffl`, followed by the highly acclaimed films `Maqbool` and `Missed Call`. Ankur has also performed in the Oscar winning film, `Slumdog Millionaire` (2008). He also played the lead in `The Forest` (2009). He is more recently seen in Telugu film, `Kedi` (2010) and the Hindi film, `Striker`. After completing his education in Architecture, he graduated from the National School of Drama (NSD), in 2000, and started performing with the Motley Theater Group in plays including `Manto Ismat Haazir Hain`, `Safed Jhooth Kaali Shalwar`, `Katha Kollage II`, `All Thieves`, `The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial`, and `Salome`.
