Anubhav Sinha is an Indian film director known in particular for his recent work as a director for the Bollywood film, 'Cash' (2007). He directed the film 'Ra.One' starring Shah Rukh Khan.

He worked as an assistant director to Pankuj Parashar until 1994, before branching out as an independent director with television shows. He gained recognition with `Shikasht`, followed by another television show `Sea Hawks`.

He went on to enter the fast emerging music video scene directing 75 music videos in 3 years.

He made his directorial debut in Bollywood with 'Tum Bin'. His second feature film 'Aapko Pehle Bhi Kahin Dekha Hai', again with a lesser known cast, did not fare well at the box office.

His next film, 'Dus', his first multi starrer, turned out to be the biggest opening weekend for the year 2005. This was followed by the highly acclaimed 'Tathastu' (2006) and 'Cash' (2007).

Ra.One, released on diwali of 2011, was considered a much awaited film of 2011.
 
Sinha is founder and owner of "Benaras Media Works", the production company he established in 2012 to produce his film and television projects.
