Arindam Chaudhuri is an Indian economist, management guru, film producer and the Honorary Dean of the Indian Institute of Planning and Management. He is the founder of the Planman group of companies and the charity, `The Great Indian Dream Foundation`. . He debuted with the Hindi film, `Rok Sako To Rok Lo`. Planman Motion Pictures went on to produce Bengali movies including `Sanjhbatir Rupkathara` (2002), `Dosar` (2006) and the National Award winner `Faltu` (2006). The company also produced two more Hindi movies `Mithya` (2008), starring Ranvir Shorey, Neha Dhupia, Naseeruddin Shah and Vinay Pathak and `Sunglass` (to be released). Another movie produced, `The Last Lear`, was awarded the National Award for Best Film in English, in the year 2009, by the Government of India.
