Armaan Kohli is a former Indian film actor, who primarily worked in Hindi films from 1992 to 2003. He is the son of the producer and director Rajkumar Kohli and yesteryear actress Nishi.
Kohli made his acting debut as a child actor in his father's films Badle Ki Aag (1982) and Raj Tilak (1984). He was launched as a leading actor by his father in the 1992 film Virodhi. The film failed at the box office. His father tried to revive his career again with films like Aulad Ke Dushman (1993) and Qahar (1997) but they also failed to do well and Armaan did not become a star. Films he did with other directors also failed to do well.
Armaan was set to star in Deewana, but walked out of the film after completing the first shooting schedule and later Shahrukh Khan was penciled in as his replacement and ironically for Armaan, Deewana became a super hit.
In 2002 he was in the news when his car hit a man. After a break from acting for a few years, he attempted his comeback with the fantasy action film Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani also directed by his father. The film was a critical and box office disaster, even though he rechristened himself Munish Kohli and appeared alongside an ensemble cast including Sunny Deol, Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Manisha Koirala.
He made his last film appearance to date in the ensemble war film LOC: Kargil in 2003.
Since September 2013, he is a contestant on the reality television series Bigg Boss 7.
