Chitrangada Singh is an Indian film actress. After completing her education, she began a modelling career in Delhi before making the transition to the silver screen. She has performed in music videos including renowned lyricist Gulzar's 'Sunset Point'. It was in the singer Abhijeet's music video, that she was spotted by Sudhir Mishra's production manager.

Subsequently, she made her much acclaimed debut with Sudhir Mishra's film `Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi` in 2003, gaining wide acclaim. She went on to perform in the 2005 film, `Kal: Yesterday and Tomorrow` (2005). She also starred in a Telugu film "Kedi" in 2010 sharing the screen space with Nagarjuna.

She took a break from 2005 onwards, making her comeback in 2008 with the leading role, alongside Sanjay Suri in Onir's romantic-comedy, 'Sorry Bhai!' (2008). In April 2009, she was awarded the Young Women Achiever Award - 2009' by FICCI. In Sudhir Mishra's film 'Yeh Saali Zindagi', Chitrangada played the role of an aspiring singer who moves to Mumbai in search of fame and money.

She is married to Indian golfer Jyoti Randhawa. They share a son. Golfer Digvijay Singh is her brother.

She did an item number in the film 'Joker' starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha. She is also seen in the films 'Desi Boyz', 'Inkaar' and 'I, Me Aur Main'.
