Karan Arora is a London based Indian film producer, entrepreneur and founder of High Ground Enterprise (2008), a conglomerate of associate companies specializing in the media and entertainment domain. British film and television producer Kent Walwin partnered with High Ground Enterprise to work on independent projects including a reality movie show titled `Make Me A Movie Star`.
In collaboration with an American investor and the technical partners from India, the company is setting up a full fledged Post Production Facility in Soho, London. The overall project is of over $100m. The facility will be fully operational by April 2011.
Highground Enterprise has sponsored the Media, Film and Arts Awards of Graduate 100 (2010), the largest initiative of its kind developed in conjunction with Britain’s leading employers, universities and key industry figures.
`Bhindi Baazaar` is High Ground Enterprise's latest offering under Picture Thoughts Production, a film based on pickpockets starring Kay Kay Menon, Shilpa Shukla, Deepti Naval, Gautam Sharma and others, slated to release in February 2011. The film was announced at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival.
Karan has also co-produced `Tera Kya Hoga Johnny`, which is set for release in December, 2010
