Kunal Kohli is a Hindi film director based in Mumbai.
He started his career working with Amit Khanna and Mahesh Bhatt, on the video magazines - 'People Plus' and 'Bollywood Plus'. He went on to making television shows on Zee TV, wherein he hosted the popular'Chalo Cinema', creating shows like 'Philips Top 10' and 'Kya scene hai'.
Moving on, he started directing music videos. He has directed over 24 Music Videos. Some of his more popular videos include Bally Sagoo's 'Mera Laung Gawacha', Bali Brahmabhatt's 'Tere Bin Jeena Nahin', Shiamak Davar's 'Jaane Kisne', Hema Sardesai's 'Bole Humse Kuch Na Gori' and Rajshri Music's 'Yeh Hai Prem', a song for Alisha Chinoy with Milind Soman.
He has also been the judge for the popular Reality TV Dance Show, 'Nach Baliye - Season 2' for Star Plus in 2005; as also a children's Reality show on Zee TV titled 'Chota Packet Bada Dhamaka', also in 2005.
He started his production house 'Kunal Kohli Productions' in 2007 to make films for himself and launch new directors too, the first film was Thoda Pyaar Thoda magic (2008) which opened to rave reviews and was appreciated by the public, but did not meet with the success of 'Hum Tum' and 'Fanaa'. He is a producer in his next venture 'Break Ke Baad' with stars Imran khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles, which is directed by his assistant Danish Aslam. Apart from being a director, Kunal has written dialogues for 4 films. He also writes a fortnightly column on MSN's India site, MSN.CO.IN
