Shail Hada is an Indian playback singer, hailing from Rajasthan. He got his initial training in Hindusthani Classical music from the renowned vocalist, his father, Shri Jaswant Singh Hada.
Shail began his career by singing background vocals for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s `Black`, following which he has been associated with every Bhansali film. His popularity soared even higher with Bhansali's next directorial `Saawariya`, in which Shail also assisted composer Monty Sharma. In Bhansali’s `Guzaarish`, he worked as the chief assistant music director and arranged the tracks `Udi` and `Maza Saiba`, in addition to having sung many tracks, including the title track. His classical prowess is exhibited in the song `Tera Zikhr Hain`. Shail has also ventured into the South Indian music industries, particularly Tamil and Telugu, with Harris Jayaraj's compositions.
After completing his education in Rajasthan he came to Mumbai and joined the Department of Music, Mumbai University, where he won six gold medals at various national competitions.
