Sreekar Prasad (commonly referred to as Sreekar Prasad) is a film editor.

He has won the National Film Award for Best Editing seven times throughout a career spanning over two decades, his last win for his work in the acclaimed feature film, 'Firaaq' (2008), directed by Nandita Das. He has worked in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Assamese and English films.

Some of the films Sreekar Prasad has edited include 'Kannathil Muthamittal' (2002), 'Alaipayuthey' (2000), 'Vaanaprastham' (1999), ''Aayitha Ezhuthu (2004) and 'Yuva' (2004). He recently worked as editor for the film 'Navarasa' (2005), directed by Santosh Sivan. Sreekar Prasad has also worked in the films 'Pokiri' (2007), 'Guru' (2007) and 'Sila Nerangalil' (2008). He was well known by all in the Tamil Industry for his work in the block buster 'Billa' (2007). He also edited the Malayalam magnum opus biopic film, 'Pazhassi Raja' (2009).
