A true delight for die hard romantics!!

Yash Chopra's last release 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' unfortunately proves that such 'romances' will not be made in Bollywood anymore. His sad demise has left an irreplaceable void in the industry and after watching 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan', one will certainly realize that Yash Chopra will be missed dearly.

The film tagged as 'A Yash Chopra Romance' is a perfect farewell to Yash Chopra and is a true delight for die-hard romantics. It starts with a rigid Major Samar Anand (Shah Rukh Khan) who heads the Bomb Defusing Squad (B.D.S.) and is on the verge of diffusing the ninety-eighth bomb of his career. His time and life is captured as a story by an aspiring documentary filmmaker Akira Rai (Anushka Sharma), a 21-year old vivacious girl who is striving hard to get a job at Discovery Channel. Accidentally, a hand written diary by Samar falls in the hands of Akira who learns about the hidden part of Samar's past life.

His past: Meera (Katrina Kaif) a God fearing girl who believes that she will meet her prince someday, falls for street musician Samar and developes deep feelings for him which is mutual. But fate takes an ugly turn when they get separated in an unfortunate turn out. On the flip side Samar fails to recognize Akira's love despite of her outward confession.

The film has special cameos by Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, whereas Anupam Kher too plays a small supporting role in the tale.

'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' truly stands on expectations and proves why it was tagged as a 'Yash Chopra' romance. It reminds what legacy the man started and how it unfortunately ended with his sad demise. His narration is truly enchanting and engaging. Teamed up with some great performances by its lead stars, the film comes as a perfect Diwali Bonanza for you.

Shah Rukh is back in his romantic avatar and how. He proves that his age has got nothing to do with his romantic streak and image as the 'King of Romance'. His strong show of emotions shows that at 47 why is he still a heartthrob and one of the best actors this industry will ever have. Katrina Kaif is a stunner. She will leave a lasting impression on your mind with her acting prowess. Anushka Sharma however is the biggest surprise of the film and stuns you with the vivacious show that she has put up in the film.

The film boasts of scenic locations and places like Leh-Ladakh, London and Kashmir which are beautifully shot and captured through the camera lenses. Music composed by A.R. Rahman and lyrics by Gulzar are good but the guys have performed better in the past.

Nonetheless, watch the film, and if you have the bleakest idea of giving it a miss, here's a sound piece of advice: DON'T!!!

This is a must watch for all kind of cinema lovers.
