Apparently all of a sudden, porn-coms have become somewhat of a trend nowadays in Bollywood and Umesh Ghadge's 'Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3' which is the third installment in the 'Kyaa Kool Hain Hum' series falls under this category. Such films might cater to some and might not to some. Let's just analyze whether 'Kyaal Kool Hain Hum 3' will click with the audiences or fall flat.
'Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3' tells the story of two best buddies Kanhaiya (Tusshar Kapoor) and Rocky (Aftab Shivdasani) who have done almost everything together in their lives. Everything in their life seems to be a cakewalk for them until one day due to some funny circumstances, both of them land up in trouble and then they are left with no other option but to head off to Bangkok in seach of their long lost pal Mickey (Krushna Abhishek) and join hands with him in his porn film business. What follows after this, is a comedy of errors especially when Kanhaiya falls head over heels in love with Shalu (Mandana Karimi).
Coming to terms with the acting part, the two lead actors Tusshar Kapoor and Aftab Shivdasani frankly are not bad in their respective characters. Both of them have very good comic timing, look very comfortable and easy with their roles and manage to get you in splits quite often with the typical double entendre and wacky dialogues which they jut out. Both of them have managed to do justice to their roles and are satisfactory with their performances. The leading lady of the film, Mandana Karimi frankly needs to polish her acting skills a bit more as she looks more of a glam doll rather than an actress. Krushna Abhishek as usual is in his elements and is good with his comic timing too. Claudia Ciesla and Gizele Thakral might just make you feel "OMG, what are they doing and why are they doing this", but you cannot blame the actors especially considering the fact about the type of roles they are playing. Rest of the supporting cast which includes Darshan Jariwala, Shakti Kapoor, Meghna Naidu and Sushmita Mukherjee are strictly okay.
Cinematography of the film is okay and there is nothing very special to mention about it. Editing part has been handled well as the length of the film has been kept to just over two hours thankfully. Music of the film frankly falls flat on its face, none of the songs are worth mentioning, forget about them being good enough to get appreciation.
Well, honestly after watching 'Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3', you will surely feel that the first two installments in the franchise atleast had something decent enough to take your entire family to watch them but this one does not have anything named decent. Please do not make the mistake of taking your entire family to watch this one and instead if you do want to watch it, better go alone or else with a like-minded person. Go for the movie only if you have nothing better to do this weekend or if you like some cheap gags here and there. But one thing is for sure, if you go to watch this one even for the gags, after watching the full film, you will surely feel "Kyaa Fool Hain Hum" to watch this one.
We are going for a 1 star for 'Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3'.
