The trailer begins with Jaideep Ahlawat aka Khalid Mir asking Alia Bhatt aka Sehmat her stand. He says, ''Kyu Raazi ho tum yeh Karne k Liye''. Here begins the song with the heartfelt voice of Arijit Singh who has crooned this emotionally enticing number that pleases our soul. Whereas Gulzar Sahab explains about the depths of the lyrics which is based on the famous poetry of Pakistani philosopher Allama Muhammad Iqbal who also wrote 'Sare Jahan se Accha' Click here to watch 'Ae Watan' making video.

Talking about her role Alia said, ''She's a young, naive girl, who decides to risk her life for her country. This was the most beautiful aspect because I didn’t have to enact anything. Being brave doesn't mean that you don't get scared. The sequences were overwhelming, but I wasn’t afraid of holding on and going all the way. A lot of technical preparation went into playing Sehmat. I had to improve my Urdu and then unlearn what I had picked up because I play a Kashmiri and I wasn’t required to speak chaste Urdu or Hindi."

The film also stars Vicky Kaushal, Jaideep Ahlawat, Rajit Kapur, Shishir Sharma and Alia's mother Soni Razdan in major roles. Raazi is slated to release on May 11.
