• Heroine was always my film, says Kareena

    27th July 2011

Kareena Kapoor who had lost award winning roles in Madhur Bhandarkar's national award winning films like 'Page 3' and 'Fashion', had almost lost his third offer 'Heroine', when he signed Aishwarya to star in the film. As luck would have it, the film despite landing in Aishwarya's kitty, bounced back to Kareena on account of Aishwarya's pregnancy.

Kareena, who earlier turned down the film due to the intimate love making scenes in it, was once again approached by the makers of 'Heroine' to star in the film, recently. They convinced Kareena, who agreed only after her demands were fulfilled. Kareena, in a tell-all interview to a leading magazine recently, stated that 'Heroine' was always her film. She confessed that she couldn't give dates to Madhur as she was busy shooting for 'Ra.One', 'Bodyguard' and 'Agent Vinod'.

Though there hasn't been an official announcement over the casting, Kareena's bold and blunt statement makes it clear that she will now star in the film.
