Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan was accused of duping R Muralidharan who has filed a police complaint for the same. In his complaint, Muralidharan stated that Hrithik and other 8 men conspiring and deceiving him with a sum of Rs 21 lakh.

The man claims that he was appointed as a stockist by a merchandise brand called HRX, that was launched by Hrithik in 2014. He has also alleged that the company did not supply the products regularly and took the stakes out of the marketing firm without his knowledge and enquiry.

Based on Muralidharan's complaint, Kodungaiyur police has registered a case against Hrithik Roshan and eight others. The complaint was filed in June under Section 420 of the IPC (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property). Now the actor finally breaks his silence and issues an official statement of the firm.

The official statement read ''Hrithik Roshan and HRX Brand have no association with the matter in question in news. HRX Brand has been licensed to Global Fragrances for limited purposes. License was terminated by HRX Brand because of defaults by Global. Neither Hrithik Roshan nor HRX Brand are responsible to Muralidharan, the complainant. Neither HRX Brand nor Hrithik Roshan were responsible in engaging Muralidharan, the Complainant, and are not liable for Global Fragrances’ actions.''

HRX is Hrithik's own brand of fashion wear which the actor started in 2014.
