Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez has extended her support to help flood victims of Tamil Nadu by taking an initiative of rehabilitating them. Jacqueline will fly off to Chennai to flag off the initiative-'Jacqueline Builds'.
The flood has affected over 17 lakh people and some of them even lost their dwellings. When Jacqueline came to know about this, she met an NGO named 'Habitat for Humanity' and they decided to build homes in the capital for the poor.
For this noble cause Jacqueline is urging her friends from the Bollywood industry to help according to their wish. Also she is raising funds through various avenues including her crowd-funding page where donors can contribute. Meanwhile, the NGO is also visiting schools and corporate institutes for funds.
Jacqueline will be in Padappai, Chennai on April 9 and will begin working on building homes with 200 volunteers from different schools, colleges along with finest corporate executives.
