Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra unveiled the poster of 'Mere Pyare Prime Minister' much before while the film was in making. Following an intriguing poster, trailer is heart-touching and deals with the topic of open defecation and hygiene.
Young boy Kanhaiya dwelling in the slums of Mumbai is the apple of the eye of his single mother Sargam played by Anjali Patil. Absence of basic toilet facilities ends up getting Sargam raped when is she out to relieve herself, translating Kanhaiya to take a drastic decision. The little one writes a letter to the PM and decides to meet him in the capital along with friends to convey his message. We witness actor Atul Kulkarni attending the kids but is unsure about the taking the message forward; a room full of hand-written letters grabs our attention.
