Kumar Sanu and Kavita Krishnamurthy's iconic song from 1996 film 'Tere Mere Sapne' 'Aankh Marey' is recreated for Rohit Shetty directorial Simmba's new song. Picturised on the lead Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan, the song is peppier and especially designed as a party number.
The background is full of flashy neon lights as we see Ranveer and Sara dancing together but more importantly it is the 'Golmaal' gang including Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Khemu and Shreyas Talpade coming to light up this enjoyable number. Arshad Warsi who was in the original song reappears and says, "Ab Kumar Sanu ki awaaz mein."
This Simmba song composed by Tanishk Bagchi and written by Shabbir Ahmed, has been sung by Neha Kakkar, Mika Singh and Kumar Sanu. Click here to watch the song.
Speaking about the song, Ranveer said, "I don't want to ruin that moment for all of you. It will be out in a few days." Simmba is the official remake of Telugu superhit 'Temper', which starred Jr. NTR and Kajal Aggarwal and is about a corrupt cop with temper issues who has a transformative experience after a kidnapping incident.
Simmba's trailer was recently unveiled and showed Ranveer playing a corrupt cop, who changes after a brutal incident of rape. What's more buzzing among the fans is Ajay Devgn's cameo as Singham which has left everyone intrigued.
