• Trailer update- 'Malaal' is a typical love story from the crowded city of Mumbai

    21st May 2019

Back in 2007 ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali had introduced starkids Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor in his film 'Saawariya'. Now after 12 years, Bhansali is launching 2 new faces in Bollywood, Javed Jaffery's son Meezaan and Bhansali's niece Sharmin Segal in his next titled 'Malaal'.

A typical love story from the crowded city of Mumbai, where Meezaan plays a Maharashtrian boy falling for Sharmin who plays non-Maharashtrian girl residing in the same chawl.

While Meezan is seen in typical chilled outfits, Sharmin is an ideal example for girl-next-door phrase. Going by the trailer film promises a lot of dance and drama; Marathi dialogues, stars and set up of Ganpati pandals give it a more Maharashtrian touch.

Sharing the trailer actor Salman Khan, who had interacted with baby Sharmin during 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam', wrote, "Just like that, it's time now to see this beautiful little Sharmin bloom on the silver screen in her debut film, Malaal. May this new journey bring you all luck and love
