• Vivek Oberoi to act opposite Tabu

    16th January 2012

It has been made officially clear that Vivek Oberoi who was earlier supposed to lead Sanjay Gupta’s directorial next "Shootout at Wadala" will no longer star in it. Due to unavailability of Vivek’s dates and some confusion, Vivek opted out of the film and Sanjay too readily agreed to replace him. However it seems that Vivek has filled up for the loss sooner than expected. The actor recently confirmed that he has signed Bejoy Nambiar’s film.

“I have now signed Bejoy Nambiar's film. The character that Bejoy has offered is better for me in the space I am in right now. It (To quit "Shoot out at Wadala") is purely a professional decision and not personal at all. I wish Gupta loads of luck with the film,” declared Vivek. Bejoy’s film that was signed by Vivek recently is tentatively titled as "David" and it is touted to be a gangster-love-story.

The film was earlier in news for it being a comeback film for Tabu who has been signed for the film as well. This will also star Isha Sharwani. The film is expected to go on floors in January end.
